Two of my favorite things to do are take road trips to see new places or visit those I love and listen to audio books. While avoiding COVID stricken lands and attempting to take in the wonders of Europe I had moved here to explore, I listened to my second Yuval Noah Harari book, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century.

This book explores what is happening in our world today and how will it effect our future. He explores 21 various ideas from current state of politics to the impact of machine learning and other technologies. There were a lot of ah-ha moments as he looked at the current state of the world while also reflecting on how the past had informed his ideas about our future.

As an innovation leader, this was an important book to read to explore the impact of the now on tomorrow and how what we do in education today can better align with the future.
